Der Sponsor "sollte" es zwar wissen, doch Martin ist nicht Fender, und schon gar nicht Gibson...Und so halte ich diese Besetzung für einen Fehlgriff eines Martin-Mitarbeiters in der Promo-Abt. (wahrscheinlich Anf. Zwanzig), der kurz mal in die Besetzungsliste früherer Konzerte von Clapton in Japan geschaut hat.
Bei Eric ist man vor Überraschungen ja nie sicher, doch wieder mit East und ohne 2. Mann an der Gitarre glaube ich nicht. Paul Carrack wird übrigens im Dez. in HH auf die Bühne treten (habe grad ein Plakat gesehen). Mit dem SWR-Rundfunkorchester werden Swing- und andere Klassiker performed, na,ja.... die spielen doch nicht auch noch bei C.Nebel oder Silbereisen?

Habe ich beim Jazzfestival im Bayrischen Hof in MUC gesehen. War teils bekannnte deutsche Jazzprominenz zu sehen, wie Klaus Doldinger.
Mir hat das Konzert gefallen, ist sowieso selten Bob James / Davis Sanborn in Clubatmosphäre in D mal zu erleben.
Also wer auf Fusion steht unbedingt hin!

Eric Clapton's February / March 2014 Tour kicks off 18 February at Tokyo’s most famous venue, the Nippon Budokan. For the tour, which will visit cities in the Far and Mid East, Eric has put together an exciting new band featuring familiar faces from recent tours and some old friends. Joining Eric on stage for these dates will be Nathan East (bass), Steve Gadd (drums), Chris Stainton (keyboards), Paul Carrack (keyboards), Sharon White (backing vocals) and Michelle John (backing vocals).

A few dates will be added to the 2014 Far and Mid East Tour in the coming weeks. Eric will also undertake two small tours in the spring and early summer. Cities to be visited have not yet been announced for these tours.

awesome band … jetzt kann wieder über die traumsetlist spekuliert werden. nix gegen alle vergangenen besetzungen … aber nathan und steve verkörpern erics music inzwischen sehr lange zeit … i love it. und ich bewundere seinen mut ohne 2. gitarristen anzutreten … with no chance to duck behind … respekt! es wird zeit, die rah belegung zu studieren. layla und sally ihr seid dran!!!

ich glaube jedoch nicht, dass er in der RAH spielen wird 2014.

Vielleicht macht er noch Skandinavien, Paris, Rotterdam.... (Spring)
und evt. noch einmal die italien. Festivals in Lucca, vlt. Montreux.... evt. noch Istanbul, Spanien....usw (early summer)?????????????

Er hat ja noch einiges nachzuholen, nachdem er uns 2013 in Deutschland so gut "versorgt" hat;)))
und die sonst von ihm besuchten Länder das Nachsehen hatten.
