Hier der bewegende Text eines Fans, der kürzlich noch mit Kofi gechattet hat:

I have to share this beautiful photo of Kofi. This was from a text chat we were having. It's of course a self-portrait screen shot posted to me along with another photo of his computer monitor, showing me how he was learning to write movie scores. I keep looking at this photo, at Kofi's eyes, and he just seems like he's still here and in a month or two we'll have one of our long talks. There is going to be an empty place where this man was, so present, so beautiful, for us all. His heart was so big. He was so funny and so lovable. And so talented and so loving and so real and so human. Dear dear dear...I heard from him a little over a week ago. He texted, "I feel so weak, I just want to get through the hard part." He was tired. His heart was tired. And now, he's free.
