Hi Claptomanen,
neues Album - und schon bricht die Hölle los
Sogar alte Wunden (Setlist) werden wieder aufgebrochen.
Neues Album - Grund zu unendlicher Freude, des wegen sind wir Claptomanen! Die Zeit bis das Album erscheint wird lang werden.
Ab dem Zeitpunkt wo man vorbestellen kann werde ich der erste sein.
Mein Trip zu JB an Ostern 13 in der RAH steht ja auch schon, und freue ich mich auch schon.
Das Größte wäre also noch Eric in der RAH im Mai, unnd Euch mal wieder sehen - unter Gleichgesinnten.

Also alles ein Grund sich zu freuen, heute werden es über 25 Grad, somit ist noch Biergarten angesagt.

So muss das Leben sein

auf das neue Album freuen wir uns alle, und auf Konzerte 2013. Doch die Setlist wird ein Thema bleiben! Worüber sollten wir uns sonst die Birne zerbrechen?
Freuen wir uns auf nächstes Jahr (wird aber langsam Zeit für Termine und VVK....)

Ich war seit langer Zeit mal wieder auf der ABB-Webseite. Dort hat Chuckels dies gepostet:

Clapton’s New Album, (Playing The Blues), is going to shock and surprise many. It features some of his best guitar playing of his career. The title is subject to change, as EC has been to know to change them at the last minute.

EC has been working hard on his new album this year.

So world tour next year with some surprises for Crossroads.
You will love the new record; unless EC makes last minute changes like
he did on last studio album. This one is more blues/rock.

Hallo Sally,

wenn das mal nicht gut klingt. Allerdings ist jetzt die Vorfreude gemischt mit dem Gefühl von "ich will nicht mehr länger warten". Ich hoffe sehr, dass ich in meinen Erwartungen nicht enttäuscht werde, aber ich glaube, EC lässt uns Claptomanen nicht im Stich Hast du auch etwas gefunden, wer beim neuen Album noch so mitwirken wird?

dann lagen hansa und ich mit dem Fake ja doch nicht gänzlich falsch, so denn sich die News aus Amiland erhärten! Warten wirs ab, ich glaube an ein tolles Album (ein bisschen spannender als zuletzt und neue Songs in der Setlist...).

Doyle, der sich zurzeit auf Einlandung eines indischen Blues- Gitarristen in Indien ist, hat dort der Indian Times ein Interview gegeben. U. a. hat er auch über das neue Album geplaudert.

Eric called Paul McCartney to play the upright bass on a track. Paul said he had never played upright bass on a record before. So he came in and did it.... And it was amazing that he nailed it in pretty much the first take. He played a right-handed bass being a leftie, without re-stringing it, because he said he didn't want to affect the tone of the instrument. I asked him how he could do that and he replied that back in the day, John (Lennon) — who was right-handed — and him would swap instruments "all the time". So, it was no big deal for him. I was pretty astounded that Paul could pull that off.
