"Two days before its planned release date and in reaction to a German daily publication of the programme,
the Montreux Jazz Festival unveils this year’s line-up.
Following an indiscretion by a Swiss media, which published some information it received from one of its readers – despite an embargo imposed by the Montreux Jazz Festival (MJF) – the programme for the 46th edition of the Festival was partially revealed on its German language site, two days before the official announcement.

As a result, and so as to provide festival-goers with the most accurate and complete information, MJF’s management has decided to announce the programme in its entirety tonight."

Hallo zusammen,

sind ja interessante Sachen dabei.

Aber wenn ich auf die Eintrittspreise schaue. Sehe ich das richtig, oder mache ich da einen Denkfehler. Ich glaube mich erinnern zu können, das wir hier mal eine ausführliche Diskussion über die hohen Eintrittspreise (80 - 100 €) der Top-Acts in Deutschland hatten !?!
Zum Vergleich:
Bonamassa Acoustic Project in Montreux (im Kombipack mit Taj Mahal Trio): 74 € (Stehplatz) bis zu 183 € (Sitzplatz)
""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" in Mainz (07.07.12): 49 € bis 66 € (alles Sitzplätze)

Richtig heftig wird es am 07.07. und am 08.07.2012! Interesante Paarungen, dolle Preise!! Wobei sich bei Bob Dylan die Geister ja wieder scheiden werden.
Preise hiefür umgerechnet: Stehplatzkarten: 90 €; Sitzplätze von 266 € bis 291 € ( schluck !!! )
Wenn ich mir die Preise der Topacts anschaue, die bei uns im Sommer touren, geht es uns ja richtig gut in "good old Germany"!!!

So Veranstaltungen, wie von CDW gepostet und von Les Paul empfohlen, können da schöne Alternativen sein. Und dann noch umsonst, toll. Mit unbekanten Acts kann man mitunter auch sehr schöne Konzerte erleben.

Ja die Preise in Montreux sind offenbar wirklich jenseits von gut und böse...wenn man da so ein Abonnement nimmt ist man arm.
