R.i.P. Johnny Sandlin

It's very sad to hear the news of the passing of Johnny Sandlin. (April 16, 1945 - September 19, 2017)
Johnny was the drummer in The Hour Glass with Duane and Gregg Allman.
He was also a great session musician at Muscle Shoals.
He would eventually become a recording engineer, producer and Vice President of Capricorn Records with Phil Walden.
He would produce, mix and master records for The Allman Brothers Band (Brothers and Sisters, Win, Lose or Draw),
Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, Wet Willie, Cowboy, Bonnie Bramlett, Widespread Panic and many others.
Johnny has 5 platinum albums and 10 gold records to his credit.
He has made an astonishing contribution to the world of music, he will be missed.
