Dazu noch eine Nachricht, die hoffen läßt. Seit Tagen wird ein Gerücht gehandelt,
dass im Herbst oder Winter eine sensationelle Veröffentlichung anstehen könnte.
Eine CD/DVD/BluRay von seiner 1994-1995 Blues Tour: Nothing But The Blues!
Erste untrügliche Hinweise sind kürzliche Löschungen einiger sehr guter YouTube Videos.

Nothing But The Blues! Das war für mich eines der größten Highlights seiner Karriere.
Vielleicht gibt er uns bei den diesjährigen Konzerten ein paar Kostproben aus der möglichen Blues Veröffentlichung - würde mich freuen und Erinnerungen an großartige Konzerte wecken.

Dieses Foto aus der Royal Albert Hall hat Kim Mears mit einem Geburtstagsgruß an Eric auf einer EC Fanseite gepostet.

Wie sie jetzt mitteilte, wird sie Ende dieses Jahres oder Anfang 2019 sogar ein Buch davon veröffentlichen.
Der Titel: "On The Road and at Home With Eric Clapton ...and others".

Die Story von ihr hier:
This photo was taken of us in the green room at the Albert Hall after I made the bold decision
to dance on stage during the encore of Before You Accuse Me, mouthing as I danced center stage,
“Well you can’t fire me”, and then dancing over to stage right to sing the chorus with the back up singers,
Tessa and Katie and then dancing back across stage and finally to the back stage area
where I was waiting with 10 neatly folded white towels for Eric and the band as they exited the stage.
He did fire me that night but technically it was the last night of the tour anyway and from this photo
you can see he wasn’t serious. I even got him to sign my program.
And I was back to work with him on the following tour so I guess it was a risk well taken.
Fun times on the road and at home with Eric Clapton, nearly 12 years total from 1990-2001.
Grateful for it all.

Gerade entdeckt! Am 30.3.2018 hat in Westbury N.Y. Godfrey Townshend & Band ein wirklich
beachtliches Birthday Tribute Konzert für Eric gespielt. Hier das komplette Video des Abends.
Eric sollte diese tolle Setlist am besten komplett für Köln und London übernehmen,
um allen zu zeigen, wo der "echte Hammer hängt".
