Er war tatsächlich gestern Abend beim Jeff Beck Tribute Konzert in der Royal Festival Hall London dabei.
Neben Eric auch Jerry Douglas.

"Anyway last night Jerry Douglas made the announcement of a surprise guest and then Eric Clapton walked out with an acoustic guitar.
He and Jerry led the band on an instrumental version of While My Guitar Gently Weeps then he sang an old Irish folk song with the whole band.
He dedicated it to “his friend Jeff” as well as David Crosby and Burt Bacharach.
He said he’s a huge fan of Transatlantic Session-shows and his kids have grown up coming to this show."

Eric Clapton joined the Transatlantic Session, Irish, Scottish & American music performed by the finest musicians including John Doyle,
Jerry Douglas, Aly Bain, Martha Wainwright, Liam Ó MaonlaÍ, Karen Matheson and Amethyst Kiah, Mike McGoldrick, John McCusker,
Allison de Groot and Tatian Hargreaves at The Royal Festival Hall.

Clapton played While My Guitar Gently Weeps but graciously let Jerry Douglas take the solo on the dobro.
Then he sang My Name Is Sam Hall for Jeff Beck. The whole show was a masterclass."
