The Who's "Tommy" album has been reissued a few times in the past, but now a super-sized version of the band's landmark 1969 concept album will be unleashed this Fall in a four-disc Super Deluxe box set that includes a plethora of previously unreleased studio and live recordings. Of course there will be a newly remastered version of the original album, joined by another CD of unreleased "Tommy" demos recorded by The Who's Pete Townshend, and another CD of rare 1969 concert performances as well as a state-of-the-art Hi Fidelity Pure Audio Blu-ray disc boasting a new 5.1 surround sound mix of the album. The Super Deluxe set comes with a truly epic 80-page hardcover book featuring rare photos, memorabilia, a replica "Tommy" poster and a lengthy new essay by Who expert Richard Barnes.
