Johnny Winter Guitarist/Producer Paul Nelson has now gotten Eric Clapton to record on the new Johnny Winter album "Step Back" on Sony/Megaforce ... He finished tracking yesterday. This is gonna be a great CD... A lot of great guests. Mr. Winter is very excited about this project...

And it is not just Eric Clapton who will appear on the new album, as Johnny Winter has also got Mark Knopfler, Billy Gibbons, Joe Perry, Dr. John and Greg Allman on board for the record. There is no official release date yet but we should get the new album around March 2014.
