Beachtliche Besetzung beim diesjährigen Pinkpop Festival am 7. Juni in Holland:

The Rolling Stones will play a pair of festival shows in Europe in June. They will headline the Pinkpop Festival in Holland on June 7 and the TW Classic Festival in Belgium on June 28 as part of their 14 On Fire tour.
Tickets for both festivals go on sale this Saturday, March 15 at 10am local time. The band will be playing more major shows in Europe in May and June, and these will be announced over the next two weeks.

Weitere Bands in Holland: Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, Joe Bonamassa, John Mayer, Metallica, North Mississippi Allstars, Paolo Nutini, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, The Kooks!

Die Stones beim Pinkpop?!?!?! Na das ist ja mal ein Lineup. Vor vielen Jahren waren wir bei nem Bekannten unserer Freunde in Landgraf zu Besuch. Der wohnt direkt am Pinkpop-Gelände, muss nur über seinen Zaun steigen und ist mitten aufm Gelände, zum pinkeln kann er kurz heim und wenn er keine Lust auf das Gewühle hat, dann hört er von seiner Terrasse aus zu. Er war total begeistert und hat ziemlich geschwärmt, seine Frau dagegen war nicht so angetan, die ganze Meute vorm Zaun zu haben.

Mit den Rolling Stones bekommen die Endlos-Festivalheadliner Metallica direkt einmal richtig starke Konkurrenz. Wenn man bedenkt, was die Stones oft für ein Konzert-Ticket verlangen, ist das doch die Gelegenheit, sie mal "günstig" live zu sehen und noch einige gute Bands "kostenlos" als Zugabe zu kriegen. Ich hab sie damals bei der Bridges to Babylon-Tour auf dem Nürnberger Zeppelinfeld gesehen. War klasse, aber ich muss sie nicht unbedingt nochmal haben.

Rolling Stones heute in Singapore. Gerade gefunden, das Video von "Wild Horses":

Rock Classic Werchter spielen die Stones auch. Und in Rom im Circus Maximus. Und in Düsseldorf am 19.6. Und in Berlin auf der Waldbühne. Im Wiener Happel Stadion auch, Paris am 14.6. Wahrscheinlich auch noch Oslo, Hamburg und (natürlich) London
